In 2004 Canadian producer Greg Vickers a.k.a Afternoons in Stereo self-released his debut album, Aural Pleasure - a bold musical template of jazz, rare groove, and ambient mixed with contemporary club music and electronic downtempo that fused bossa and funk with cinematic tones and textures. A DIY endeavor from the ground up, it made waves in the underground electronic music scene and cast the mold for the Afternoons in Stereo sound on the ensuing albums, EPs, remixes, and collections that would continue up to the present day. Long out of print and unavailable, Kraak Records is proud to release Aural Pleasure as the first of three re-releases of the first trio of albums in the Afternoons In Stereo catalog and featuring two previously unreleased tracks from the original sessions. Part of the Archival Remastered Series, with new analog mastering.
