SUBSET returns with a range of moods and emotions, filtering between light and dark. From the upbeat groove of the opening Duende Revisited, which revolves around horns from an earlier tune, to the deep closer Solutions of Synthesis, which explores the origins of life, Aperture's five tracks feature richly effected bass, layers of live guitar and a touch of melodica, all underpinned by dub production.
