There are so many occasions in our lives when we have to say goodbye, and yet we don't seem to be all that good at it. 'A Good Goodbye' is contemplative and uplifting, intended as a hopeful alternative to the conventional idea of an elegy. Originally written for a farewell to the campus where both writers first met more than two decades ago as young students of Raffles Girls' School, the song also poignantly marks their professional parting of ways, as they each embark on exciting new phases in their respective careers.
