Richard Passant aka ELektroBin grew up in Paris suburbs in a family of musicians and music lovers. He is very interested in soul music, jazz, classical, rock and begins to practice the guitar in his adolescence which allows him to work his ear and his taste for melodies without making it his main instrument. Always in search of his favorite instrument he discovers the MAO at age 19 and falls literally in love with his new condition of man-orchestra. He is interested in his debut on techno, break-beat and other rhythmic and electronic styles. Assisted by sound engineers, djs or producers, he refines his artistic and creative personality without pretension or search for an audience. It was in 2006 that he discovered the scene and the beginning of the contact with the public in duet under the name of "SliceCookers" (with his binomial "Agatha Crusty"), they enchainent then some dates and releases to stop their duet in 2010. in parallel, he begins to be interested in downtempo and hiphop. He produced in 2009 a featuring on the album "Elektrons" Abraxxxas and then delivers a title as tortured as aggressive "drive-by". He took a musical break at the birth of his son and gradually left the stage and dancefloor music. It is from 2010, that he begins to look for softer sounds and more chill universes. In 2013, he released a first self produced album "first attempt, past, present". Influenced by many artists from different worlds ranging from Miyazaki soundtracks to old Portishead albums or dj Muggs, Murcof or Quantic. He then realizes his potential in these areas and decides to continue in this way to deliver in 2016 his second album "New Departure" at the time influenced by artists like Apparat, Koda or Bonobo. he begins to really look for his own musical identity while keeping a certain love for diversity and undeniable artistic curiosity. After some years of highlighting his music he falls in love with chill-hop, jazz-hop and lofi hiphop and decides to take a little more interest. He then began the frightened writing of "A Cloud For Two" that he took so much pleasure in creating that its elaboration lasted only about ten days.
