O2 (real name Njabulo Mkwanazi) is a rapper, producer and song writer from Johannesburg (South Africa). Mostly known locally by his first single that have come out of his project EP titled MAKING BREAD from the EP titled UpSaluteGodly that will be dropping early April 2017. The twenty year-old O2 started rapping at the early age of fourteen, having been influenced by local rappers who've been mostly dominating at that time by the likes of DEEP SOWETO, GP GANGSTAR AND F-Eezy. He eventually became a part of a rap scene In the neighborhood along with his crew named SHADOWZ in 2009, in which him being a leader of a rap group have highlighted his skills of composing songs and being the most influential and trend-setting. The name O2 which defines OXIGEN was given by the producer of the SHADOWS crew, judged by his ability and potential of keeping the group alive. While as his on-going rap career continued he took a stand of working as an individual solo artist, influenced by hip hop greats such as American rapper.
