"Aloe Vera is an evergreen perennial which grows wild in tropical climates around the world" Aloe Vera is the first official release of stziopa for the independent label Supranu. This 4-tracks EP is made entirely of a "late summer jam" which has been recorded straight from the mix without any additional editing. Aloe Vera represents the need of slowing down, have a look at our surroundings and enjoy the moment as a timeless frame. Alias of Stefano Manconi (1993), stziopa is a musician born in Sardinia and artistically adopted in Czech Republic where he collaborated with the synth manufacturing crew of Bastl Instruments. His background of drummer since the teenage, lately developed into electronic music - along as his own personal projects - as co-founder of ~emb, Mira 332 and lately as a new member of Lilies on Mars. His music is built entirely on improvisation, mostly with modular synthesizers and ranges from "floating-ambient" tunes to "broken-til-straight" techno beats through generative and evolving patterns. Beside his main activities, he designs his own musical instruments and collaborates with Parallel Coast, Ottovolante Sulcis, Betty's Turquoise Chain and many more. Stefano Manconi holds an academic degree in Electronic Music at Conservatorio di Cagliari (Italy) and has studied Multimedia at JAMU in Brno (Czech Republic).
