Developed from her jazz performance roots, Freya Roy combines neo-soul, R&B and hip-hop elements. A guitarist, singer and producer from Norwich, UK, 2019 sees the release of her crowdfunded-debut album entitled 'Ahlke', which bridges the gap between jazz, soul and popular culture. Incredibly, this debut LP is being supported by MOBO Trust and Help Musicians UK for the release and UK tour this year. Released under an independent label Freya founded in 2012, FCR Music is a community and platform that she is using to inspire, empower and celebrate industry minorities.
