'My Fairy Tales' to me is a concept album exploring the life of Africans in the diaspora and the struggles they face. The album portrays the good aspects of falling in love and the importance of being responsible towards children, as well as the significance of culture, education and identity values. My travels and spending a lot of time in France influenced me in writing an album that doesn't just explain the suffering of Africans, but the aspects of endurance, perseverance and gratitude, which is a shared attribute of people across the globe.' The music has an authentic, easy going, Afro beat and roots feel to it. Mainly recorded and produced in France, Denmark and Nigeria. Mounir Maarouf from France produced five songs, Silver Bullit team from Denmark produced two songs, and 'The Slag' aka Marcus Nigsch and Nneka produced one song with 4 times Grammy award engineer James 'Bonzai' Caruso known from his work with Daimen and Stephen Marley on mixing duties. Chris Gelin mixed 'My Love, My Love' which he also did additional production for.
