London-based artist Ava James has just revealed her new R&B infused single 'Passenger', produced by Bedlam. 'Passenger' marks a welcome return for the young singer-songwriter. In Ava's own words, 'Passenger' is inspired by my best friend who has tendencies to go off the rails. Sometimes when I'm with her I feel like a passenger as she drives out of control but will always be there for her no matter what. It's like any relationship which is spiralling out of control!' 'The half Irish, half Persian singer-songwriter was born in Streatham South London where her love of all things soul and RnB began to develop at an early age alongside her undeniably talented soulful voice. This led to a place at The Brit School where, influenced by the likes of Etta James, Nina Simone and Lauryn Hill, Ava started writing songs at the age of 14.
