Street Music Still MattersBlaime Cappo, Muney
Blaime Cappo, professional artist/songwriter from Hampton, Virginia now lives in Atlanta. At an early age Cappo was exposed to the diversity of many cultures. Growing up abroad in Heidelberg, Germany, Italy, other European countries this was a big influence on his music. Starting to write at the age of 12. Coming back and forth on Summer breaks is was his introduction to street life. First time recording, Cappo was in the group "D-Boyz." At the age of 16 he had his first session with Eazy Money, a producer in "Bad News" Virginia. The booth was in Eazy's bedroom closet. Since then his passion for music grew into a lifestyle. Always hearing his older brother play Tupac, Tupac became Cappo's major influence. Cappo's versatile music resembles that of Nas. In his eyes not only is Nas a musical genius, but he looks up to him because he is a thug and a gentleman. Speaking on real street issues in a king manner. Doing it for his family and for longevity success. Cappo will continue to make positive "street" music as a memorial to his older cousin Swagg. Swagg was killed in 2014, this was a life changing event for Blaime Cappo. Which stands for Benjamin Lives Always In Me Eternally. Staying original and with relatable lyrics, his music will be around for a while. According to Cappo, "with social media giving easy access to so many garbage artists, social media has watered down the industry." This rising star will continue to let the world know that "Street Music Still Matters," which comes out world wide December 23, 2016.
