The debut release from MaxPtah is a cult favorite. The blend of jazz, soul, and Hip Hop in this album is what separates this album from any other that came out around its time. The album is well rounded, but seems to be more dark than anything else. Limiting the guest appearances on this album Max shows that lyrically he is able to carry a full length LP after producing for many others. Enlisting the help of Paul West and Fathom 9 with engineering and producing duties, Ptah was able to get into rare form and focus on the art of emceeing. Coming in with 11 tracks, its an album that\'s straight to the point and is the perfect introduction into Het-Ka-Ptah (The House of the Soul of Ptah).
